Rogue has added director Fred Rowson to its roster for commercial representation in the UK.
Rowson first made his name directing music videos for artists including Wet Leg, Little Mix, Bree Runway and Years & Years. More recently, he has helmed campaigns for Tesco Mobile, McDonald’s, Amazon, Škoda and giffgaff.
In 2024, he received widespread recognition for his viral campaign for Yorkshire Tea, alongside a place on Campaign’s Top 10 Directors List. He is also known for his award-winning film for Pride in London.
Currently in pre-production on his debut feature, backed by the BFI, he is also developing several other projects.
Kate Taylor, Owner & Managing Director at Rogue Films, said: “Fred is one of those rare directors who can move seamlessly between comedy, emotion and cinematic spectacle. His work is smart, ambitious and full of heart, and he brings the kind of creativity we’re always looking for at ROGUE. We love that he is now part of our roster and its all systems go to shape the next stage of what is already an incredibly impressive body of work. Most importantly though, Fred is an all round fabulous human, which is what being a ROGUE is all about.”
Fred Rowson added: “ROGUE has long been a company I’ve admired. They have fantastic relationships with their directors and navigate the industry with such smooth professionalism, all while keeping their sights on making brilliantly creative work. Their production pedigree speaks for itself, and both Kate and Charlie are among the most passionate people I’ve met in this business. Charlie’s belief in each director is completely infectious. I’m incredibly excited to join the roster and see what we can build together.”
