Riff Raff Films has launched a dedicated animation department, Our Animated Cousin.
Animation talent has long been on the Riff Raff roster with the company “now giving it a dedicated home within our creative offering.”
The department is anchored by directors renowned for their distinctive approaches to animation, including Smith & Foulkes, The Sacred Egg, Francois Rousselet, Alden Volney, and newest addition, Oscar-nominated director Johnny Kelly. “In addition to our existing roster we have access across the world to new emerging talent in illustration, concept, puppetry and stop frame.”
Riff Raff’s Executive Producer & Joint Managing Partner, Tracey Cooper says: “What inspires me most is how animation combines creativity and technology (yes, even AI!) to bring ideas to life in a unique and unforgettable, instantly ownable, way.
