Richard Bond, currently Head of UK Factual at Raw TV, has been appointed Creative Director of Dragonfly.
 
Bond leaves Raw TV after 6 years. During that time, Raw’s factual slate has included BBC2 documentary series Conviction: Murder at the Station and Channel 4 dramas The People Next Door and Cyberbully.
 
Kim Shillinglaw, Director of Factual, Endemol Shine UK said; "He is a master of storytelling, unconstrained by conventional genres as he demonstrated so brilliantly with shows like Blackout and Cyberbully."
 
Bond will report to Shillinglaw who oversees Dragonfly, Dragonfly West, DSP (Darlow Smithson Productions) and Tigress and is the strategic lead for factual across Endemol Shine UK.
 
Bond is expected to start the new role in January 2017. Recent Dragonfly projects include Ambulance for BBC1, A World Without Down’s Syndrome for BBC2, Inside Birmingham Children’s Hospital for Channel 4, The Great British Benefits Handout for Channel 5 and upcoming The Jury for Channel 4.
 
Dragonfly was founded in 2004 and forms part of the Endemol Shine Group.
