Channel 4 has commissioned Twice the Food, Half the Price, presented by Rosie Ramsey and Nathan Anthony (@boredoflunch), a new six-part series from South Shore that will tackle the rising cost of living. The show is made in partnership with Lidl.
The series sets out to prove that “with smart shopping, practical swaps and achievable recipes, it is possible to significantly cut spending on your weekly shop while still enjoying delicious, satisfying meals.”
Each episode follows a family struggling with increasing costs, and Rosie and Nathan will help them shop, cook and plan meals differently to make their food shop budget go twice as far.
The series will offer affordable ideas for every part of the week, from packed lunches and quick midweek dinners to ‘fakeaways’ and entertaining at home, with practical tips viewers can use in their own kitchens.
Senior Commissioning Editor, Clemency Green said, “Food remains one of the biggest weekly expenses for many households. Twice the Food, Half the Price offers a practical response to the challenge of providing delicious and affordable meals for families of all sizes. Packed with useful ideas, relatable stories and achievable solutions, the series will show audiences how they can make their money go further without sacrificing the joy of good food.”

Our partnership with Lidl and Channel 4 goes from strength to strength and we can’t wait to see how Rosie and Nathan can help families all over the country.“
