The votes have been counted and the results for the eighteenth annual Televisual Bulldog Awards are now online.

72 Films was voted Best Indie by Televisual’s readers with the indie also winning in the Best Documentary Series category for 9/11: One Day In America.

In the drama awards, Sister’s This is Going to Hurt was voted Best Drama serial or One-Off and Two Brothers’ The Tourist won the vote for Best Drama Series.

The third series of Hat Trick’s Derry Girls was voted Best Comedy with BBC Studios’ Strictly Come Dancing again voted the Best Entertainment show.

The Live Sport vote went to BBC Sport and Wimbledon Broadcast Services’ coverage of the 2022 Wimbledon tournament and Best Live Event was won by the BBC’s coverage of this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

The factual category winners include Raw’s The Tinder Swindler and Wish/Art’s 9/11: Inside the President’s War Room.

The craft categories were won by Eleven Film’s Sex Education S3 (Best Music and Best Editing) and BBC Studios NHU (Best VFX for Prehistoric Planet and Best Cinematography for The Green Planet)

The Televisual Bulldog Awards are voted for by the readers of Televisual Magazine and pick out the best UK-made programmes that first aired between July 1 2021 and June 30 2022.

A special magazine, The Inspiration Behind Great Television, will include interviews with all the winners and will publish with the upcoming Winter issue of Televisual magazine.

The winners of each category will be invited to collect their awards at the Televisual Bulldogs Winners’ Dinner this month at the Hotel Cafe Royal.
