Sony will launch its PDT-FP1 portable data transmitter in Europe in March.

The 5G-compatible device is for high-speed and low-latency video transmission. It allows for the sending of videos to an FTP server or other streaming platforms.

In March, when it launches, it will be compatible with all basic 5G services in Europe. Going forward, it will be compatible with premium 5G Network Services.

Already launched in Japan, The PDT-FP1 reduces the time required for data transfer, speeding up content workflows.
