Carpool Karaoke, The Late Late Show and Bros: After the Screaming Stops indie, Fulwell 73, has acquired post-production company Creativity Media.

Under the terms of the deal, Fulwell will upgrade their existing post-production operations merging with Creativity Media’s post-production team. All of  the newly combined team will report directly to co-MDs Patrick Fischer and Richard Kondal.

The two companies have worked together previously on Class of ‘92 and I am Bolt .

The new post-production division will combine Fulwell’s expertise in predominately TV production and post-production with Creativity Media’s expertise in feature film picture and sound finishing, VFX and delivery.

The combined post division will also be open to third party productions.

The Fulwell/Creativity Media deal follows Valence Media’s recent £45 million investment in Fulwell 73 in September last year. This acquisition springboards Fulwell‘s growth in London and Los Angeles, ramping up its film, TV and digital programming slate.

Since launching in 2010, Creativity Media has post-produced 95 films and television shows. Past projects include BAFTA nominated McQueen, BAFTA winners I am Not A Witch and Under The Shadow, as well as the US box office smash 47 Meters Down and Fulwell 73’s hit football documentary The Class of ‘92.

Leo Pearlman, partner at Fulwell 73 said: “Creativity Media have been a key partner on many of our features and high-end documentaries over the past eight years and we have built a very close working partnership. We trust them implicity, and like us, they share a passion for storytelling and demand the highest creative standards. Bringing Creativity Media into Fulwell will mean we can boost our in-house postproduction team and take it to the next level, increasing our commercial and creative output as we continue to grow.”

Patrick Fischer and Richard Kondal, Co-Managing Directors at Creativity Media add: “This is an extraordinary and historic moment for us — after eight years of working together, this merger will allow us to combine our vast range of talent across the storytelling process. Both Fulwell and Creativity live and breathe high quality storytelling, by combining our companies we are creating a post-production operation that is raising the bar for a huge range of content, from the small screen to the cinema screen. Let the new adventure begin!”
