Warner Bros. Discovery Access (WBD Access), the development programme connecting new and emerging talent to Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), has announced the three episodes selected as part of its new Production Incubator programme in collaboration with Food Network and discovery+ in the UK.
Following a competitive application process, three UK production companies: Project Must Entertainment, 7FIFTY and Double FTV1 have been selected to produce one 30-minute episode for the established Food Network and discovery+ format Secrets of the…, which has previously seen Tom Kerridge open the doors to his pub The Coach in Secrets of the Pub Kitchen, and Asma Khan take viewers behind the scenes of the Darjeeling Express in Secrets of the Curry Kitchen.
The Production Incubator was launched by WBD Access earlier this year to offer opportunities to emerging and small-to-mid-tier UK production companies who have not previously produced content for WBD’s linear channels or discovery+. The programme was designed to create new pathways into WBD, offering production companies access to commissioners, executives and production specialists while developing talent-led ideas that “explore how food reflects identity, culture and community across the UK.”
After taking part in a structured professional development week at WBD’s London offices, participating companies pitched their concepts to network and streaming executives and discovery+ commissioners. The three selected projects have now moved into production, with teams across WBD supporting the chosen episodes through the commissioning and production process. Karen Ross, whose credits span MasterChef and MasterChef: The Professionals, Roux Down the River and Secrets of the Curry Kitchen, will be working closely with WBD to Executive Produce all three episodes.

In Secrets of the Caribbean Kitchen, produced by Project Must Entertainment, Keshia Sakarah, award-winning chef and food writer, takes viewers on a vibrant journey into the heart of Caribbean cooking, uncovering the stories and treasured traditions behind some of the islands’ most-loved recipes. Rich, layered and steeped in history, this is a cuisine built on secrets: recipes rarely written down, but lovingly passed from one generation to the next, carrying with them memories, traditions and the stories of families who keep them alive. From Salt Fish Fritters, Curry Duck and Spiced Bun, Keshia opens up her treasure chest of culinary knowledge to explore why Caribbean flavours are lighting up Britain’s restaurant menus and home kitchens alike.
Secrets of the Chinese Kitchen, produced by 7FIFTY and supported by Rock Oyster Media, sees Chef Andrew Wong invite viewers behind the scenes of his award-winning kitchen, offering rare access to one of Britain’s most extraordinary culinary success stories. As the first Chinese restaurant outside Asia to be awarded two Michelin stars, Andrew’s kitchen is a place where centuries-old technique meets modern creativity; from the secrets behind producing hundreds of exquisite dim sum every day to the comforting staff meals shared between services. The episode features step-by-step recipes inspired by his celebrated fine dining dishes, reimagined for home cooks, while celebrating a cuisine that reflects the ever-evolving flavours of modern Britain.
In Secrets of the Fire Kitchen, produced by Double FTV, self-taught chef and YouTube star Adam Purnell takes viewers deep into the Shropshire woods for a look at his unique restaurant Embers, where everything is cooked outdoors over flame, smoke and charcoal. From his sellout Sunday Roasts, booked months in advance to his Medley of Shellfish inspired by his Dad’s family from Virginia Beach to an incredible wood-fired baked Alaska, Adam reveals how fire can unlock bold flavours. He’ll reveal how to bring the magic of the fire kitchen into our homes, as he showcases a kitchen rooted in craft, the elements, and open-fire equipment that transforms cooking into theatre.
The episodes will air on Food Network and be available to stream on discovery+ from late October 2026.
