The trailer for director and writer Martin McDonagh’s latest feature Wild Horse Nine has been released by Searchlight Pictures.

The new film, starring John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell and Steve Buscemi, is made by Blueprint Pictures and Film4, with producers Graham Broadbent, Peter Czerni and Anita Overland. Cinematographer is Ben Davis, with editor Mikkel E.G. Nielsen.

Principal photography took place on Easter island, with locations including on a rayuela club in Chile’s Conchalí, the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, and the centre of Santiago city.

It was shot on Alexa 35, wth sequences shot on 16mm and S8mm.  Cinelab Film and Digital supported the production with remote digital dailies, dailies colour, film processing, scanning, and 35mm DFD transfer – with lab operations at a range of locations.

Picture and sound post were with Goldcrest, and VFX from BlueBolt. The colourist is Adam Glasman

Wild Horse Nine is slated to release in November this year.
