The BBC has released the trailer for the second season of David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell Martin starrer, Ludwig.
Master puzzle-setter John ‘Ludwig’ Taylor (David Mitchell) is now a crime scene consultant, working alongside DCI Russell Carter (Dipo Ola) on ‘impossible’ crimes for the Cambridge Police Authority. But with his identical twin brother still missing, John and his sister-in-law Lucy (Anna Maxwell Martin) won’t stop – there’s a puzzle to solve and a husband and father to bring home. One masquerade may have ended, but a new one has just begun.
Series 3 has already been commissioned by the BBC.
Ludwig is a Big Talk Studios production in association with That Mitchell And Webb Company. Series two is written by Mark Brotherhood. The executive producers are Kenton Allen, Mark Brotherhood, David Mitchell, Kathryn O’Connor and Chris Sussman. The new series was commissioned by Jon Petrie, BBC Director of Comedy Commissioning. The BBC Commissioning Editor is Tanya Qureshi. Ludwig is produced in association with ITV Studios, which also handles international distribution. The series is a BritBox co-production for the United States and Canada.
