Netflix has released a trailer for several high-profile sports films and series, with the spot also running during the season-opening NBA game.
The spot includes Bill Russell: Legend, the definitive documentary from director Sam Pollard, about the basketball and civil rights icon.
Drive to Survive producer Box to Box has teamed with Vox Media for the upcoming documentary series following the PGA Tour and golf’s major championships and is also behind a documentary series giving an unfiltered look at pro Tennis and featured players throughout the ATP and WTA Tours and the Grand Slam Tournaments.
Also up ahead is a second season of Last Chance U: Basketball, from Boardwalk Pictures, which launches on December 13.
Additionally, the reel highlights a number of recent sports titles from Netflix that are now streaming, including: The Redeem Team; Formula 1: Drive to Survive; Untold; Naomi Osaka; Neymar: The Perfect Chaos; and Cheer.
