Here’s the trailer for Apple TV+ drama Suspicion.
Suspicion is billed as a high-paced thriller about the kidnapping of the son of a prominent American businesswoman, Katherine Newman, poised to become the US Ambassador to the UK. Twenty-one-year-old Leo’s abduction from a large, upmarket hotel in central New York by five masked strangers is captured on video and goes viral. Swiftly, a group of British citizens who had been staying at the hotel on that same night become the prime suspects. But are they guilty of any more than being in the wrong place at the wrong time? The pressure escalates as an unusual and impossible-to-ignore demand is made for Leo’s safe release, which has unexpectedly far-reaching consequences.
“Suspicion” is based on the award-winning Israeli series “False Flag” from Keshet Broadcasting, created by Amit Cohen and Maria Feldman.
Rob Williams (“Man in the High Castle”, “Killing Eve”) serves as showrunner. The series is directed by Golden Globe winner Chris Long (“Amazing Stories”, “The Americans”) and produced by Darin McLeod (“Watchmen”, “Black Earth Rising”).
Williams and Long will also serve as executive producers on the project, along with Howard Burch (“Spooks”, “The A Word”) for Keshet Productions, Avi Nir (“Prisoners of War”, “False Flag”) for Keshet Media Group, Anna Winger (“Unorthodox”, “Deutschland 83,” “Deutschland 86”) and Liat Benasuly (“Fauda”). The series will be produced out of the UK by Keshet Productions, Keshet International’s UK production arm, as an Apple Original.
