Following Wall to Wall’s recent appointment of Moira Ross as head of Entertainment, the company has taken on Poppy Delbridge to act as its head of Entertainment Development.

Delbridge joins Wall to Wall from Talkback, where she started as the development producer behind Dan Baldwin’s new comedy and entertainment department in early 2012, which led to three series commissions: BBC One’s upcoming Tim Brooke Taylor led show Animal Antics, ITV1’s Keith Lemon’s Lemonaid and BBC3’s Britain Unzipped.

Her credits include 8 Out Of 10 Cats and The Friday Night Project; she has discovered talents including Alan Carr and has written for The Kevin Bishop Show.

In her new role, she will run a slate of development projects across the entertainment department, including comedy, and will report into Moira Ross and Gavin Rota, Wall to Wall’s director of Development.

Leanne Klein, creative director at Wall to Wall said, "I’m delighted we’ve found someone as talented and creative as Poppy to head up entertainment development at Wall to Wall.   She’s got a fantastic track record and incredible energy.  She’s the perfect person to help us develop a raft of exciting ideas for Wall to Wall’s entertainment slate.”

Poppy Delbridge said, " I’m relishing the opportunity to build on the success of The Voice UK in such a powerhouse indie as Wall to Wall. My aim is to create a hungry development team with fresh ideas that will make commissioners spin in their seats."
