UNIT worked with Samsung Mobile and Monks on the teaser activation in Shoreditch announcing the annual Galaxy Unpacked event.
3D holographic images illuminated the night on a massive 65 x 50 ft transparent micro LED display bringing the world of Galaxy AI to life. A blue whale appeared to glide through the sky along with displays of the shimmering northern lights, vibrant flowers blooming in a burst of colour, a footballer scoring a winning goal and concluded with lanterns casting a warm glow across the sky.
Working with the Monks agency, the Samsung activation campaign was Directed by Dean G. Moore. In coordination with Production Company Brand Yew and UK Supervising Producer Jamie Miller, US Supervising Producer Chad Baron and Executive Producer Santini Sladavic, the UNIT team brought their expertise in Colour, Online / VFX, and Sound to the project.
UNIT Producer Tania De Sousa and UNIT Executive Producer Phil McCluney led the UNIT team in completing the project with Grade and Online completed in one afternoon. UNIT Colourist Harry Shelton, Online / VFX Fraser Cleland and Rob Ellis, and Sound Designer Jamie Thomas worked together to craft visuals and immersive soundscapes that “captured the futuristic essence of Samsung’s revolutionary Galaxy AI.”
