The British Film Editors (BFE) Cut Above Awards were held at the BFI Southbank on Thursday.

The editors behind Conclave, Baby Reindeer, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl and Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story were among the winners

Úna Ní Dhonghaíle was honoured with an Outstanding Contribution Award, presented by Sir Kenneth Branagh. As well as award-winning work on The Crown and Three Girls, Ní Dhonghaíle has worked with Branagh on featuers All Is True, Belfast and Death on the Nile.

The Cut Above Awards, dedicated to the craft of editing, recognise the exceptional work of editors across drama, documentary, animation, and current affairs.

In celebration of the awards, the British Film Editors is hosting a Nominee Breakfast Chat, ‘Cut Above Panel’ which will take a deep dive into the craft of the editors, on Saturday 15th February at Picturehouse Central, London. Panelists include winner’s Otto Burnham ACE, BFE Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story and Dan Hembery (Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl) and nominees Gints Zilbalodis (Flow), Juliette Welfing (Emelia Perez), Melanie Quigley BFE (Kill Zone: Inside Gaza), Pinny Grylls (Grand Theft Hamlet), Jerome Eltabet (The Substance) and Jake Roberts (Civil War). The panel will be hosted by Eddie Hamilton ACE, BFE.
