Twofour Group is launching a new factual entertainment label, Natural, led by former NBCUniversal exec, Alan Brown.

Brown will join the Twofour Group as Creative Director of the new label next month.
 
Brown will make use of the group’s production bases in London, Cardiff and Plymouth to deliver a slate of popular factual and factual entertainment titles.
 
Brown is currently Creative Director of Chocolate Media where he has created  shows including the Channel 4 series Great British Buildings: Restoration of the Year with Kevin McCloud and Dr Anna Keay.

A well known format creator and executive producer, his credits span reality hits including The Apprentice, The Restaurant, Honey We’re Killing the Kids and Driving School of Mum and Dad; features formats such as The Very Hungry Frenchman, Restoring Britain’s Landmarks and Grow Your Own Drugs; archive entertainment series such as I Love 80s, documentary series including The Midland and Three Lions and entertainment shows including 21st Question and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Brown said: “These are great days to be making factual content, the number of opportunities across the spectrum is absolutely enormous, and there is such a desire for new shows and innovation. This move fulfils an ambition to work with a creative group of people I know and love. What they have achieved is pretty incredible, so it was just too good an opportunity miss.”
 
Twofour Group Chief Creative Officer, Andrew Mackenzie, added: “Alan’s irrepressible energy and award winning producing skills make him a perfect fit for our merry band. We’re delighted to be supporting him in Natural.”
