Tin Roof Media has hired Paul Hanrahan as Group Operations Director.

Hanrahan will join the management team of Tin Roof’s two production companies, Blink Films, set up by Dan Chambers and Justine Kershaw and Outline Productions, set up by Laura Mansfield and Helen Veale.

He will manage the day-to-day business operations and growth strategy across the group.

Previously Hanrahan was md of Reef Television, where he had operational responsibility for the day-to-day management of the company. During his 12-years at the company, he helped put in pace Reef’s sale to Zinc Media in 2015 and the subsequent integration of the business into the super-indie.

More recently Hanrahan has been working for small indies in a management consultancy role advising on financial planning and business operations.

Paul Hanrahan said: “I am delighted to be joining the management team at Blink Films and Outline Productions. Both companies have a reputation for making high quality, distinctive original and innovative factual content working with some of the best creative and production staff in the industry.  It feels like an exciting period of growth for both companies and I cannot wait to get stuck in.”

Dan Chambers, Co-Founder of Blink Films said: “Paul brings a unique mix of production experience, strategic insight, great relationships with broadcasters, and unerring common-sense.  He’s a perfect fit for Blink and Outline as we grow to our next stage.  We’re delighted to have him join us”.

Laura Mansfield, MD, Outline Productions said: “We’re so looking forward to working with Paul. His experience and smarts are a huge asset to the company as we grow to the next level, and he’ll be great fun to work with along the way”.

Blink Films’ productions include Shut Ins: Britain’s Biggest Hoarders, Prehistoric Jungle Giants and The Joy of Techs. Outline’s shows include Great British Food Revival, No More Boys and Girls: Can Our Kids Go Gender Free? Things We Won’t Say About Race That Are True and the RTS Award-winning The House of Tiny Tearaways.
