Friends Electric, the sister production company to post and vfx house Electric Theatre Collective, has hired a US based exec producer and appointed three sales and repping teams to push Friends Electric’s talent across the east coast, mid west and west coast.

Belinda Blacklock (pictured), who previously headed up the Passion Pictures NY studio, has been appointed Executive Producer of the LA office. Blacklock will effectively be working across both time zones, collaborating closely with the London studio headed by EP Alex Webster. Blacklock has been “instrumental in securing a dynamic arsenal” in three independent repping firms, covering strategic sales and management for the entire US.

Working closely with Blacklock on the west coast is the Red Rep team, comprised of Holly Ross and Jeremy Hodges. Friends Electric has secured NY-based talent management firm Miss Smith Inc, to handle representation for the East Coast territory. Miss Smith Inc. is comprised of Jamie Scalera, Sasha Stern and Julie Margilaj.
Rounding out the lineup is Nathan Skillicorn and his Chicago-based boutique repping company Heart, Brains & Nerve as the company’s Midwest and Texas repping partner.

Friends Electric currently represents Pete Candeland, Foam Studio, Lucas Zanotto, Myoshka, No Ghost, Polynoid, Silent, and Woodblock.
