Software developer The Foundry has appointed Jody Madden as Chief Product Officer alongside her existing role as Chief Customer Officer. Phil Parsonage becomes Director of Engineering in another executive appointment.
Madden (pictured) has previously held the position of COO at The Foundry and she will continue to hold the role of Chief Customer Officer. She has formerly taken on technology management roles in organisations including Digital Domain and Industrial Light & Magic. As The Foundry’s CPO, she is responsible for managing The Foundry’s full product line.
Jody Madden, CCO and CPO at The Foundry said, “I’m really excited to be stepping into this new role as I continue my rewarding journey with The Foundry. I started as a customer so I’m intimately familiar with the challenges the market faces. Now as CPO, I’m truly excited to help our customers address their technical and business challenges by continuing to push the boundaries of visual effects and design software.”
Phil Parsonage, Director of Engineering at The Foundry said, “I joined The Foundry to deliver cutting edge research, tools and technology to help our users solve problems.  To have the opportunity to do this at a larger scale in the new role is hugely exciting. I’m intrigued to see what the future holds, what we can make and how The Foundry will help the creative and design industries go from strength to strength.”
