Sunset+Vine is to be the production partner for all England games at the forthcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

Producing a total of 14 highlights shows, Sunset+Vine will deliver coverage for Channel 5 from the World Cup in India, including all of England’s 9 group games.

Additionally, the producer will cover the host’s preliminary matches against Australia as well as arch-rivals Pakistan.

The opening match of the tournament on 5th October is a repeat of the epic 2019 Final between England and New Zealand which famously went to a super over.

The tournament concludes with the final at the largest sports stadium in the world in Ahmedabad on November 19th, in front of an expected 132,000 capacity crowd.

Sunset+Vine has been the producer of Cricket coverage for Channel 5 and Channel 4 since 1999 and has also been the Host Broadcast partner for the International Cricket Council since 2015.

Highlights of both semi-finals and the final will also be shown at 7pm on Channel 5.

Federico Ruiz, Commissioning Editor, Channel 5 and Paramount+ said: “Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for one of the most hotly anticipated sporting events this Autumn. With England going into battle to retain their title, our World Cup coverage will have fans across the country on the edge of their seats so clear your diary and tune in!”
