Studio Lambert has promoted Niall O’Driscoll to Head of UK Unscripted Development. He takes over from Jack Burgess who has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Development and Current, Los Angeles.

Niall O’Driscoll, a senior executive in the London development team, has been with Studio Lambert since 2014 and has been across the development of Tattoo Fixers, Big Life Fix, Naked Attraction as well as Buy it Now (Channel 4), Top of the Shop with Tom Kerridge (BBC Two) and Nightmare Pets SOS (BBC One) which all launch this week.

As Head of UK Unscripted Development, he will continue the company’s strategy of developing returning formats across all UK broadcasters. He takes up the role with immediate effect and will report to Creative Director, Tim Harcourt.

Tim Harcourt said: “Niall’s promotion is well deserved. Time and time again he has displayed that rare creative ability to take a simple notion or idea and turn it into a format that a broadcaster can get behind. He loves television and I trust and rely upon his taste.”

O’Driscoll said: “It’s very exciting to be stepping up at Studio Lambert and I look forward to creating our next hit formats.”

O’Driscoll takes over from Jack Burgess who has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Development and Current, Los Angeles.

Burgess will lead the company’s US unscripted development strategy, reporting to President of Studio Lambert in America, Greg Goldman. He will also continue to report to Harcourt.
