Streamland Media’s picture division, Picture Shop, has made a series of promotions and appointments in its UK operation.

Adam Morris has been named managing director; Paul Austin remains as managing director for Unscripted; Todd Kleparski has been named managing director for Scripted in the UK and Duncan Armstrong is managing director of Business Operations.

“I’m very excited about the leadership team we are building.” said Streamland CEO Bill Romeo. “Individually, they each have extraordinary experience and understanding of our industry, and collectively their knowledge and guidance will be invaluable as we continue to amplify our global services to provide filmmakers and content creators with unmatched services and talent.”

Morris brings over 20 years of experience in post production to his new role. He most recently served as technical director for Streamland Media where he oversaw IT and engineering functions, as well as helping steer technology decisions across its global locations.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking on this role working alongside the talented group at Picture Shop,” said Morris “We will continue to be about the best people, best facilities and best client experiences. Our global footprint means we can take multinational production in our stride, while keeping an attentive and client-focused feel in all our facilities.”

Austin joined Picture Shop in 2017, having worked in the post industry for over 25 years. His prior experiences include senior management roles at Dock10, Clear Cut Pictures and BBC Studios and Post.

“We are incredibly proud of our clients and the groundbreaking unscripted work on which we have the privilege to collaborate,” says Austin. “The future is exciting, and we will be steadfast in providing the outstanding services and talent that we are known for and can now offer on an even greater level.”

Kleparski has nearly 25 years of experience including 16 years of in-depth post-production expertise. Over the course of his career, he has worked on BAFTA, Emmy and Oscar winning features and series, tentpole studio releases as well independent films. Kleparski joined Picture Shop following seven years as head of Production for Company 3.

“I am delighted to be part of Picture Shop UK at this vibrant time,” says Kleparski. “There has never been a better time to showcase the richness of talent in the UK and the outstanding shows that are being commissioned, and Picture Shop is at the forefront of unparalleled global talent and services.’’

Armstrong brings nearly two decades of top-tier post production and operational management expertise to his new role. He noted, “It is a privilege to join the Picture Shop senior management team at this exciting time for the company and indeed the wider industry. I am truly looking forward to nurturing and expanding our existing managed services portfolio and working with our exemplary teams across the UK.”

Romeo concludes, “This is a pivotal time for Streamland Media and our industry, and I look forward to seeing what this outstanding creative team in the UK accomplishes.”

Picture Shop has locations in the UK in London, Manchester, Bristol, Wales and at Pinewood, and internationally in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto and Vancouver, giving all productions access to a global talent pool, essential technical expertise and unmatched support from preproduction through post.

Streamland Media’s The Farm Group was rebranded earlier this year with its picture division now under Streamland’s Picture Shop brand and its sound division under Streamland’s Formosa Group brand.
