Indie Spun Gold Television has strengthened its leadership team with the hire of Jon Green as Head of Development and Bridget Boseley as Head of Factual. Juliet Rice has been appointed as head of the company’s new regional outpost – Spun Gold West – in Bristol. They join Matt Young, who was recently made Head of Factual Entertainment.  

Jon Green was previously Development Executive at BBC Studios Entertainment Development, where he co-created shows including Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders: Absolutely Champers (BBC2). Whilst working at BBC In-House Factual Entertainment, he helped devise commissions including The World According to Kids (BBC2), You Make Me Feel Like Dancing (BBC 2), Home Away from Home (BBC1 Daytime), and Your Home in Their Hands (BBC1).

Bridget Boseley was previously Director of Programmes at Outline Productions, executive producing content including Great British Food Revival (BBC2), The Big British Wildlife Revival (BBC1) and Tom Kerridge’s Proper Pub Food (BBC2).  As an Executive Producer at Optomen Television, she oversaw Mary Queen of Shops and Mary Queen of Charity Shops (both BBC2). Prior to Optomen, Bridget worked as Head of Features and Formats at the BBC and ITV Controller of Factual Programmes.

Before taking up her new role as Head of Spun Gold West Juliet Rice executive produced shows for Spun Gold including Paul O’Grady’s Hollywood (Channel 4), Secrets of The National Trust (Channel 5), Garden Rescue (BBC1). She was previously Head of Factual Entertainment at Two Four, executive producing shows such as Heston Blumenthal Big Chef Takes On Little Chef (Channel 4), Choccywoccydoodah (UKTV) and Kitchen Impossible with Michel Roux Jr (Channel 4).
