Sky has commissioned The 100 Day Split, a new relationship series following six couples who have been together since they were young and have now reached a crossroads.

In the show, the couples will take on a 100-day challenge, “designed to help them rebuild their connection, grow as individuals and determine their future as a couple.”

The 12-part series is produced by Bright Entertainment, part of ITV Studios.

Couples embark on a complete reset by temporarily living apart, using the separation to focus fully on themselves for the first time in years. Through new routines, emotional distance and experiences such as revisiting forgotten passions, rethinking career paths, building their sense of independence or even exploring dating apps, they are encouraged to reflect honestly on their needs and ambitions. By rediscovering who they are as individuals, the couples hope to understand what must change—and how they can grow stronger together by being apart.

After 100 days they will reunite, “but will time apart reignite the spark that first brought them together or reveal that they’d be happier apart?”

Casting for the series is currently underway, with filming set to begin later this summer.
