Production house Riff Raff has made it to the number one spot in the annual Commercials 30 survey, Televisual’s exclusive survey of the commercials production sector that’s now been running since 1993.

Riff Raff claimed the podium on the back of stand out work like Nothing Beats a Londoner by Megaforce for Nike and Imagine by The Sacred Egg for EasyJet. Somesuch came in second with Blink and Academy sharing third place.

Blink took the number one spot in the Peer Poll in which the rival production companies vote for the peers they most admire. Riff Raff was second and Somesuch third.

Commercials producers also vote for  their favourite directors, ads, agencies, post houses, editors
and vfx operators as part of the survey.

Riff Raff’s Megaforce-directed Nothing Beats a Londoner for Nike was the favourite ad and Blink’s Dougal Wilson was once again voted the industry’s favourite director.

Joe Guest of Final Cut and Paul Watts of The Quarry were jointly voted the sector’s favourite editors while MPC’s Jean-Clement Soret was the favourite vfx operator.

adam&eveDDB was voted top agency by the commercials producers and The Mill was rated as the best post house.
