Rapid Pictures’ MDs Ben Plumb and Elouise Carden have bought fellow West London post house Crow TV and will rebrand it as Radiant Post Production.

Radiant Post Production will run alongside Rapid Pictures, taking over Crow TV’s Shepherds building location and incorporating the staff. No decision has yet been made on the future of the Birmingham branch.

Crow TV employs around 20 members of staff and has 30 offline, 4 Online, 4 Dubbing Theatres and Grading facilities. Its TV credits include Chalkboard TV’s Life Behind Bars: Visiting Hour (C4), Little Gem’s How to Lose Weight Well (C4) and Flame Television’s The Nightmare Neighbours Next Door (Channel 5). Rapid Pictures employs 19 members of staff at its 21 suite facility on Goldhawk road. Its recent credits include ‘Escape to the Chateau (C4) and Art Ninja (CBBC).

Joint MD Elouise Carden said: ‘We have admired Crow for a number of years and share a number of high profile clients. Rapid has been fully booked for the last two years and with clients like Brown Bob Productions rapidly expanding their commissioning slate with 30 episodes of Inside the Ambulance in production; we needed to find additional space to move into.

Rapid Joint MD, Ben Plumb said: “Shepherds Building has an amazing production community, several of whom we already work with. This is a great opportunity to expand our relationships and continue to provide dependable and innovative post production services.”
