Perifery has announced the integration of Object Matrix Vision to Perifery’s hybrid cloud media archive and workflow solution, Swarm. The unification enhances management of the media data life cycle, from ingest to archive, within Swarm.

The news follows the recent acquisition of Object Matrix by DataCore, which saw the company integrated into the DataCore Perifery portfolio.

Object Matrix Vision introduces instant and easy access to stored files. A web-based digital asset browser, it is a next generation media data management platform for content ingest, archive, metadata search, and media workflow enhancement. Swarm software delivers a cost-predictive S3 cloud native in-facility archive solution to preserve, protect, and access digital assets for reuse and re-monetization.

The integration brings multiple infrastructure solutions from Perifery under one universal platform and redefines how storage resources are best utilized. Users gain easy access via Vision to their Swarm storage, helping them get the best from their archive and maximize monetization opportunities.

Abhijit Dey, general manager and chief operating officer of Perifery commented, “Object Matrix Vision’s integration with Swarm enriches user experience as it transforms media asset management. Vision provides a clear overview of archived media content, allowing owners to amplify usage of their media content whilst maximizing re-monetization opportunities. This integration further supports Perifery in its mission to revolutionize the way your media content workflows work.”
