Nice Biscuits has hired Carl Grinter as a producer and head of business development. Grinter joins after ten years at Rushes.

Grinter co-founded digital special effects and design company, Gaul Bryers, in the early 90s. He then went on to spearhead the growth of Red Post Production as the firm’s md before joining Rushes Post Production in 2003.

At Rushes, he first served as Director of Production and New Business, before becoming Commercial Director.

Nice Biscuits owner Russ Shaw said: "I’ve known Carl for over 15 years and know that his commitment, enthusiasm and energy have literally shown no bounds. The whole team is absolutely delighted he’s decided to join our production department and with more exciting hires in the offing it’s a very exciting time for Nice Biscuits, so it’s good to know Carl will be actively involved in joining us to shape our future growth and direction.”

Grinter said: “Nice Biscuits are my friends. We have been working together extensively over the last two years and collaborating with each other to find intuitive ways of producing high quality work with a real and very personal service mentality. We place cost efficiency and flexibility at the heart of our creative work processes. Our partnership brings together extensive experience of film production, animation, visual effects, design and motion graphics, interactive development and VR and AR specialisms all under one roof. This is alongside the expanding creative talent pool, super-efficient pipeline and highest-spec technical resources that have been the hallmark of the Nice Biscuits experience to date.”
