NatWest has announced a “founding partnership” with The Amol Rajan Connection (ARC), the new media platform created by journalist, broadcaster and entrepreneur Amol Rajan.
Founded and led by Rajan, ARC has already announced a tie in with the Sister Group across “production, cross-platform distribution, audience data insight and community building.”
Over the next 12 months, NatWest will work with ARC across multiple platforms. The partnership includes collaboration on podcast content, with NatWest integrated into ARC episodes in both long-form and short-form formats distributed across YouTube, podcast platforms and social channels.
NatWest will also feature across ARC’s Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn channels, alongside activation at live recordings and events across the UK.
Amol Rajan, Founder of ARC commented: “I could not be prouder to work alongside NatWest. This feels like an exciting new chapter in a story that began 25 years ago, when I walked into my local branch in Tooting with my dear Dad. I know that NatWest has a very strong social mission baked into its business, and that – along with the commitment of the senior leadership – appealed to me. I have huge ambitions for The Amol Rajan Connection; the early signs are extremely positive; and counting NatWest as a launch partner gives me huge confidence on my start-up journey. As they like to say, ‘Let’s Do This!’”
Marg Jobling, Chief Marketing Officer of NatWest, says: “As we launch ‘Let’s Do This’, we want to show up in the places and conversations that matter to people, because meaningful action often starts with a new idea, a fresh perspective or the confidence to take the next step. Working with like-minded partners such as ARC helps us bring our brand to life through stories and conversations that inspire people and businesses to move forward. We’re proud to join ARC as a founding partner and support a platform that helps turn possibilities into progress.”
The Amol Rajan Connection is a new digital brand on YouTube and across podcast platforms. It will feature daily explainers and twice-weekly interviews with nationally and globally renowned guests. Its aim is to slow the world down and make sense of it for a big and deeply engaged audience. The first interviews will start appearing from mid-October.
