MTV has ordered three digital-first shows, set to launch on YouTube this year.
The new slate will explore themes of wellbeing, mental health & masculinity and heritage & belonging, with series featuring cultural icons, content creators and talent from the MTV universe, including Jordan Stephens (MTV Faces S2) and Geordie Shore’s Sophie Kasaei and Holly Hagan.
The series were ordered by Amie Parker-Williams, Director of Digital Commissioning and Production.
The first new docuseries, In Search of Peace with Jordan Stephens (4 x 25’), sees Stephens meeting different content creators and trying their go-to, daily wellbeing practices. Stepping into his guests’ routines and communities, Stephens asks what peace looks like in modern life, what it takes to sustain and whether it’s a destination or something to keep working at.
In Search of Peace with Jordan Stephens (4 x 25’) is produced by After Party Studios. Jamie MacDonald and Trent Williams Jones are the Executive Producers for After Party Studios, with Riva Japaul as Producer/Director. Amie Parker-Williams is the Executive Producer for MTV. The series launches on MTV UK’s YouTube channel in Q3 2026.
The next new title Shall We? (6 x 45’) is a vodcast in which Geordie Shore stars Sophie Kasaei and Holly Hagan invite audiences to chat. Shall We? is produced in-house by MTV Entertainment Studios, with Amie Parker-Williams as Executive Producer and Alice Varma as Series Producer. The series launches on MTV UK’s YouTube channel in March 2026.
Vodcast series MTV Faces (6 x 45’) returns for a fourth outing. This series brings together artists from across the music and entertainment scene for conversations about heritage, exploring the stories, habits and beliefs we inherit. Previous series of MTV Faces explored grief, ADHD and body image.
MTV Faces is produced in-house by MTV Entertainment Studios, with Amie Parker-Williams as Executive Producer. The series launches on MTV UK’s YouTube channel later this year.
Amie Parker-Williams, Director of Digital Commissioning and Production at MTV UK, said: “Our aim with this slate is to unpack the topics which preoccupy young people today. Expect unflinching and unapologetic conversations as well as faced-paced fun and laughs along the way, all delivered in formats which resonate with our GenZ audience. In creating a range of properties for MTV in the digital space, we want to bring in new audiences while serving our existing fans with the faces and viral moments they love.”
Jamie MacDonald, Head of Originals at After Party Studios, said: “In a world of relentless demands on our attention – nowhere more so than online – In Search of Peace with Jordan Stephens feels especially resonant. Jordan brings honesty, curiosity and a deeply personal perspective to a subject so many of us are grappling with. Partnering with Amie and the team at Paramount for the first time on such a timely documentary marks an incredibly exciting milestone for us.”
