Molinare has officially opened a new ADR suite in its Soho head office.

Molinare says it has invested in the new tech in the anticipation for increased ADR output, and to complement last month’s CAS award-winning ADR work on Fleabag. Other recent ADR credits for the company include Good Omens, The Capture and Strike Back.

In 2019, Molinare and sister company Hackenbacker have picked up audio awards including an RTS award,  Music+Sound Awards, a BAFTA TV Craft and an AMPS award.

Molinare’s Head of Audio Facilities James Doyle commented: “We’re all very excited for what this upgrade will bring to the facility. With the ever increasing ADR working coming to the Molinare group, coupled with our CAS Award win last month, this felt like the right time to invest in this exciting avenue at Molinare.”

Molinare and Hackenbacker’s audio set-up includes nine mixing theatres, with three of those including Dolby 5.1/7.1 Theatrical or Commercials & Trailers Certification, and one with full Dolby Atmos home entertainment mix capability.

Nigel Bennett, the Managing Director at Molinare, added “We are always looking at ways we can improve the client experience at Molinare, and this upgrade to our ADR offering is a prime example of that. We’re proud of the new suite, honoured to be associated with our existing clients, and are now looking to develop our client base further across the media sector”.

Molinare’s recent audio credits include BBC One’s Dracula, The War of the Worlds from Mammoth Screen and Worzel Gummidge. Hackenbacker have recently worked on HBO’s Avenue 5 for returning director Armando Ianucci, Carnival Films’ Downton Abbey and have contributed to the latest series of Peaky Blinders.
