Molinare has appointed Carlotta Rio to Senior Colourist.
Rio joins following a two-year stint at Splice as Senior Colourist where she worked on groundbreaking documentary, My Sexual Abuse: The Sitcom, Kim Longinotto’s Dalton’s Dream and the second series of an “award-winning comedy series”, with a TX date yet to be released.
Prior to her time at Splice, Rio spent 10 years at factual post house, Evolutions. Joining as Senior Edit Assistant, Rio progressed to Baselight project and workflow Supervisor, before taking the step to colourist in 2017. As colourist at Evolutions, Rio worked on high-end documentaries including Workerbee’s intimate four-part documentary, Janet Jackson. and Oxford Scientific’s Meerkat Manor: Rise of the Dynasty. Her credits run across feature documentaries, episodic factual and drama projects.
