Ant and Dec’s indie, Mitre Studios, has promoted Gemma Nightingale to Head of Entertainment.

In her new role, she will be responsible for leading on the development and delivery of Mitre Studios Entertainment shows on Television. With projects currently in production, she will also play a key role in Mitre Studios’ branded entertainment content acting as an Executive Producer across all Branded output.

Nightingale has worked on a host of hit primetime entertainment shows including: I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, The Royal Variety Performance, Limitless Win and Stars In Their Eyes. She has also delivered multi-platform branded content, these include the award winning, Santander ‘Bank of AntanDec’ and TUI ‘Happiness Ambassadors’ campaigns.

Mitre Studios Managing Director, Ed Sleeman said: “Gemma has played key roles on all of Ant and Dec’s Entertainment shows for over a decade and she also has a brilliant development mind. There is therefore no one better placed to lead this department at Mitre Studios so I’m delighted to be promoting Gemma to Head of Entertainment.”
