Marlow Studios has acquired a 12-acre site with 230,000 sq ft of office space next to the 90-acre plot ear-marked to build its extensive studios development.
Marlow gained planning permission last year, after the secretary of state called in the scheme, previously rejected by Buckinghamshire council. It was awarded permission by the government at the end of 2025.
The £1bn plans are for 18 sound stages, alongside workspaces and a training academy.
The newly acquired additional site will be used as an HQ during the development of the studios, but also as space for incoming productions as the studios gets close to launch.
