Twofour has appointed Louise Hutchinson to the new role of Head of Entertainment.

Hutchinson’s track record includes The Greatest Dancer, Celebrity Big Brother, The Only Way is Essex, Celebs Go Dating and most recently BBC One’s new series I Can See Your Voice.

In the newly created role she will be charged with building on the legacy of reality and entertainment hits like The Jump, studio entertainment format This Time Next Year and multi-series reality shows like Ibiza Weekender.

Hutchinson said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Twofour and their remarkably talented team at such an exciting time for the company. They have a brilliant track record and I can’t wait to help build on this and be part of their next chapter.”

She will report to David Brindley, Chief Creative Officer. He said: “I’m so delighted to have Louise join our senior team of talent at Twofour. Her creative flair for developing and executing some of the biggest shows on television is beyond impressive and I can’t wait for her to get started. Louise’s appointment means we’re now able to add the highest senior fire power to our entertainment output which will complement our already strong documentary, factual entertainment, formats and specialist factual teams.”

Twofour’s entertainment slate this year has included One World: Together at Home for BBC One, produced in collaboration with Global Citizen and the WHO, a tribute to key workers, produced during lockdown that reached over 6 million and a three part special for ITV2, bringing Virgin Media’s V Festival to the nation, virtually. Recently, Twofour’s popular documentary series Educating… returned to Channel 4.

She will join the company in early 2021.
