Gorana Jelovina joins ITN Productions from her role at BBC Studios as Development AP on The One Show.

ITN Productions’ has already secured several out-of-London commissions including a six-part series on Winston Churchill and another Channel 5 series on well-known British historical figures.

Ian Rumsey, ITNP’s Director of TV Production, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Caroline and Gorana to the ITN Productions team. They’re going to help us establish a real regional presence enabling us to make programmes which truly reflect the nation, and their appointments are an indication of how serious we are about securing business and making programmes outside London.”

Short started her career in the local newsroom at Granada Television in Manchester. Previously at the BBC, she has worked on Panorama, 5 Live Investigations, Dragons’ Den, and more recently, has made content for BBC Three such as Sex Drugs and Murder: Life in the Red Light Zone, and Sex Map of Britain.

Most recently she launched the BBC Daytime series For Love or Money, BBC Three’s fixed-rig series, Sex on the Couch, and an upcoming eight-part series for BBC Religion and Ethics.

Caroline Short said: “It’s a really exciting time to be joining ITN Productions, and I can’t wait to head up the team in Leeds, and work with some of the most talented people in the industry.”

Jelovina comes from BBC Studios where she worked as a Development AP for The One Show. She also worked for BBC Studios in Salford for more than four years across programmes for BBC Three, as well as BBC One daytime shows Health Truth or Scare, Sister Rita to the Rescue, and Rip off Britain.
