Illuminating London is a beautiful short film shot on the Sony VENICE at 6K Full Frame (X-OCN ST) with Helicopter Film Services. The film is best seen as intended in full 4K HDR (this version compressed SDR). Giles Dumper flying with Jim Swanson on camera – two of the finest aerial camera experts and loveliest people you could hope to meet. The grade is from the exceptional Asa Shoul and online from Gareth Parry both from Warner Bros De Lane Lea. Gareth is possibly the most efficient compositing artist I’ve ever worked with. No noise reduction has been applied – the conditions perfect and the pictures as clean as we’ve ever seen.
