Freefolk has hired Jessica Verner as VFX Producer.
Verner began her career at studios including ETC and The Mill and then moved into producing at Okay Studio.
Her portfolio includes work for brands including Nike, Replay, Tanqueray, Bensons for Beds, Vodafone and Amazon, alongside award-recognised music videos. Highlights include a Rizzle Kicks video nominated for two Young Arrows (Colourist and Editor categories), and a Say Lou Lou video that won UKMVA Best Colourist.
Cheryl Payne, Head of Production at Freefolk, said: “Jessica is a fantastic addition to the team. She brings a rare combination of calm leadership, strong organisation and genuine care for the people she works with. Her ability to communicate clearly, build trust with clients and support artists makes her exactly the kind of producer we value at Freefolk.”
“There’s always something to learn and improve on,” says Verner. “Being adaptable, staying calm in high-pressure situations, and not letting that pressure pass down to your team is crucial. Maintaining this across both client-facing and internal relationships, creates a comfortable environment for everyone.”
“I’ve always loved working in creative environments,” Verner adds. “Freefolk has a really lovely, inclusive vibe, alongside an exceptionally high and consistent standard of work. Being independent allows for flexibility and autonomous thinking, which really appeals to me.”
