Cardiff-based digital workflow specialist DIT Services has rebranded as Pixel & Process, reflecting the company’s growing focus on digital dailies and lab services alongside its established on-set offering.
DIT services was founded in 2020 by Cardiff based DIT Howard Colin, and opened its dailies facility in Cardiff Bay in 2022. Since then, dailies side of the business has expanded, becoming a core part of its work across film and high-end television production.
Projects recently supported by the company include the upcoming Craig Roberts feature The Scurry, The Prisoner for Sky, feature films Brides, Mr Burton and H Is For Hawk, and both series of Rivals.
Pixel & Process provide production-specific workflow design, full dailies services, custom colour pipeline development, in-house dailies colourists, high speed uploads, and data and media management. The company continues to supply DIT equipment and on-set services across the regions.
“Cardiff has become a major production hub over the past decade, and we’ve always believed there should be strong, specialist post support based here,” said Will Cook – Head Of Dailies Operations. “Opening the dailies house in Cardiff Bay was a big step for us, and the demand we’ve seen since then has shaped where the company is heading. Pixel & Process reflects that evolution and our commitment to building sustainable, high-quality workflow services in Wales.”
The company will continue to operate from its Cardiff Bay facility, with satellite services supporting productions in Wales, Bristol and the South West regions.
