Framestore has formed a joint venture with The Wheel of Time IP owner, iwot studios, that will see the pair build an AI-enabled platform to create content across film, Television, video games, and emerging media at the same time.
The platform will aim to enable studios to unify production environments across film, television, video games, animation, advertising, immersive experiences, social platforms, and user-generated content.
The JV says that by unifying “assets, standards, and governance into a single foundation”, the platform will allow productions in all media formats to work in tandem. “As fans demand to engage with IP across multiple formats, studios will need to accelerate production across those formats, while maintaining authenticity.”
