Former Molinare Director of Post, Tom Woodall, has launched new digital post platform, PixelPantry, providing “broadcast quality tools to productions of every size and any budget.”

Woodall, who has held senior positions at Molinare, Coda Post Production and Framestore, “has experienced first-hand the inefficiencies entrenched in traditional post.” PixelPantry will offer “fast, intelligent, self-serve tools designed for everyone from short form producers, indie filmmakers and major broadcasters.”

Aimed at post production teams, editors and producers, across both long and short form, the platform launches with its first product, QC Kitchen, an automated quality control tool that checks files against broadcast compliance standards within minutes. Subscription-free and priced on a pay-per-file basis, QC Kitchen lets users upload files themselves with full cost transparency upfront, offering four service tiers: Set Menu – PSE flashing, audio loudness, dead pixels, blanking and RGB/gamut error checks; A la Carte – Full multi-parameter QC in one pass, ideal pre-AS11; Tasting Menu / AS11 – Complete AS11 MXF compliance check with a full AQC_PSE report for UK broadcast delivery and Chef’s Table – Human-reviewed QC for productions that want an expert eye.

Woodall comments on the launch, “I have lived many late nights at a post house, bogged down by legacy workflows and time consuming booking protocols for everyday tasks that could and should be streamlined. With the prominence of digital first, fast-turn around content and stricter budgets, for me, the old way just doesn’t cut it anymore. The PixelPantry team and I have a long history in post, and we used that experience to build the tool we always wished we had. QC Kitchen is just the start, we have more products ‘cooking’, and I can’t wait to share them”

Further products currently in development include a secure and cost-effective cloud storage solution for media and a workflow and communication tool, with additional announcements expected later in 2026.

QC Kitchen is live now.
