ELEMENTS will be showcasing the next evolution of its AI-connected media storage at IBC next month.
At IBC, ELEMENTS will showcase how its new MCP connector enables AI agents to work directly with the platform, allowing users to create and manage media workflows using natural language rather than manual configuration or coding. By describing the outcome they want to achieve, users can allow AI to determine and configure the required workflow steps, including generating secure review links, automating archive processes, provisioning users and permissions, and orchestrating connected workflows across the production environment.
The MCP Connector represents a further step in bringing AI capabilities directly into media operations. By enabling agents to interact with ELEMENTS, users can automate complex processes while maintaining the control, security and oversight required for professional production environments.
“We’re reaching a point where AI is no longer just assisting media workflows; it can actively participate in them. Our role is to ensure those interactions are intuitive and secure so organizations can embrace AI with confidence while keeping people firmly in control,” said Heiner Lesaar, Chief Technology Officer, ELEMENTS.
Among the featured demonstrations will be a showcase with Eagle Studio, highlighting how production data captured at source can flow directly into ELEMENTS Media Library and become available throughout post-production. Eagle Studio Founder Ashay Javadekar will join ELEMENTS at IBC to present the workflow, including Eagle Slate, the world’s first production slate for immersive workflows, and show how metadata can move seamlessly from set to post. ELEMENTS will also highlight the high-performance storage capabilities supporting these processes, demonstrating how trusted media infrastructure, intelligent metadata and automation can work together across on-prem, cloud and hybrid environments.
“We’re thinking way beyond just automation. We’re building the foundation that allows creative teams and smart tools to connect securely and naturally at production scale, giving media organizations the confidence to embrace AI as part of everyday production,” said Filip Milovanovic, Technical and Sales Engineer, ELEMENTS
