The Procam Take 2 Short Film Pitch opens for entries today, with the competition deadline falling on the eve of this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival.
The competition launches a partnership between Procam Take 2 and the EIFF which will see Procam Take 2 sponsor the EIFF Youth and Industry activity at the festival this year, beginning with the launch of the Short Film Pitch.
The Pitch is open to both new and emerging talent, as well as experienced filmmakers, with the winner receiving a £5,000 equipment hire voucher to use at Procam Take 2’s Scotland branches. The competition, which is looking for films based in Scotland, closes on EIFF Opening Night Wednesday 18th August 2021.
Procam Take 2 will also be providing professional cameras for practical filmmaking workshops, helping young people gain practical experience to enter the film industry.
The partnership has received match-funding from the Culture & Business Fund Scotland (CBFS) which is run by Arts & Business Scotland.
