DRG has hired former All3media International format sales manager, Lucy Roberts.
At DRG she will be senior sales manager for CEE and French speaking territories and will report to DRG’s EVP of sales, Elin Thomas. She will also work closely with Adam Barth, whose recent promotion to SVP EMEA has seen an extension of his role and territory remit.
Elin Thomas says: “Lucy brings with her a wide range of experience covering both format licensing and completed programming sales, and has already worked extensively in EMEA and CEE. As we continue to evolve our business we need passionate lovers of content, who understand how our world is changing, and who can work closely with a wide range of different content buyers: it is no longer sufficient to just be a traditional salesperson. Lucy is a brilliant fit with these requirements and we are delighted to welcome her to the DRG team.”
Lucy Roberts adds: “DRG’s entrepreneurial spirit, incredible range of producer partners and huge formats catalogue were all very enticing. I am looking forward to bringing my experience to bear across all aspects of the business and I’m excited to work closely with Adam and Elin in developing DRG’s relationships with broadcasters and platforms in my territories.”
Prior to All3media, Roberts spent time at Keshet International as sales manager and before that she was at BBC Worldwide where, in different roles, she worked across both finished programme sales and format licensing. She started her career at ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
