Film and Digital service provider, Digital Orchard Group has opened applications for its 2026 trainee schemes for DIT & Video (Digital Orchard Onset) and Camera (Orchard Crew).
Applications to the schemes can be made from Friday the 16th of January.
Digital Orchard’s Access 2026: DIT/Video Trainee Scheme will give the successful applicants hands-on training with DIT & Video playback technical workshops, opportunities to shadow a DIT or Video Technician during productions and experience at Digital Orchard’s HQ along with advice on rates, negotiations & invoicing. The scheme also has a mentorship Programme with a dedicated mentor partnership for ongoing advice and support and trainees will be promoted through Digital Orchard to help boost trainees’ profiles within the industry. Successful applicants will also get access to trainee roles on long & short form productions and will able to attend exclusive events and networking opportunities throughout the year.
Orchard Crew’s Access 2026: Camera Trainee Scheme includes in-depth sessions and workshops across camera and the wider camera department, the chance to shadow a Camera Operator or Assistant during productions and access to trainee roles on both long and short-form productions. The camera trainee scheme also includes mentorship, guidance on rates, negotiations, and invoicing from professionals and exposure through Orchard Crew diary service. The scheme also includes kit Room experience and invitations to exclusive networking events throughout the year.
