Dan Isaacs takes on new dual role at SISTER

SISTER has announced that Dan Isaacs, COO of SISTER Pictures (Waiting for the Out, Black Doves, Chernobyl) is to relinquish his current role and assume an expanded brief across both the scripted production company SISTER Pictures and the wider SISTER Group.

Isaacs moves from COO to Executive Director at SISTER Pictures, continuing to work alongside Jane Featherstone and SISTER Pictures Managing Director Chris Fry on the company’s strategic and commercial direction. His COO responsibilities pass to Commercial Director Laura Crowley and Director of Finance and Operations Matt Wesley.

Alongside this, Isaacs expands his role within SISTER Group to one of Strategic Advisor supporting Group CEO Lucinda Hicks and Group COO Chris Fry in driving the Group’s continued development and growth.

Isaacs was a founding shareholder of SISTER Pictures alongside Jane Featherstone, starting in 2016 as Chief Operating Officer overseeing all finance, commercial, legal and operational aspects of the business and as an executive board member of the wider SISTER Group. Before this he spent 13 years at Kudos as MD, COO and latterly as CEO.

Founded by Elisabeth Murdoch and Jane Featherstone, the SISTER Group spans TV and Film (SISTER Pictures, Dorothy St Pictures, Yes Yes Media, Locksmith Animation, South of the River, Unanimous Media), Podcasting (Campside Media), Publishing (Zando, AWA) and Music and Live Experiences (KOKO) and recently announced a majority investment in digital-first production company After Party Studios.

Jane Featherstone, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, SISTER GROUP said: “This means all of SISTER can better benefit from Dan’s judgement, acumen and all-round brilliance.
