Curious Films (Paula, Running With The Devil) is in production on a new three part documentary series for Netflix, Fertility Fraudster (wt).
The doc series will investigate the global fertility industry focussing on Jonathan Meijer who is accused of fathering over 500 children
The series will uncover the tale of a charming Dutch scammer, Jonathan Meijer, who is accused of travelling the world deceiving mothers into having his babies on a mass scale. The three-part series investigates the murky world of the fertility industry and uncovers how due to a lack of global regulations, some international fertility clinics continue to allow anonymous donations.
With exclusive access to a group of passionate and aggrieved mothers, the series unravels the twisting and turning story of this Dutch YouTuber who defrauded mothers from all around the world, and how those mothers are now on a mission to push for a change in the law to prevent him deceiving more.
It is a Curious Films & AJH Films co-production and the executive producers are Dov Freedman and Jessie Versluys and Natalie Hill for Curious Films and Alex Holder for AJH Films.
It is directed by Josh Allott and series produced by Kathryn Taylor.
