CTV has updated its OB9 truck, with a full makeover and technology upgrade.
Walls, floors and the ceiling were stripped bare, and the truck has been redesigned in a contemporary style like CTV’s other supersized scanners.
Kit in the truck includes a Sony XVS Switcher with 160 inputs and multiple disc recorders. Each is capable of full Ultra High Definition and High Dynamic Range.
CTV has also invested in a new Calrec Artemis audio mixer, which has been installed with a full Dolby Atmos production and monitoring setup.
OB9 made its debut at The Open in Caroustie for NBC Sports.
