Crackit Productions has been commissioned by discovery+ UK to produce two new true crime series, Deadliest Kids (w/t), which explores four international cases of children who have been convicted of murder, and a third series of Britain’s Deadliest Kids.

The third series (6 x 60) of Britain’s Deadliest Kids returns with six new shocking cases of British young offenders who have been convicted of murder.

Each episode examines the stories of some of Britain’s most infamous killer kids, recounting their horrific crimes, investigating what led them to kill, and asking if murder was inevitable or whether it could have been avoided.

The brand extension, Deadliest Kids, explores four international cases of youngsters who have been convicted of murder, with the focus on American and Canadian children.

Clare Laycock, SVP, Head of Lifestyle and Entertainment Brands at Discovery UK and Ireland said, “Following the success we have seen with Britain’s Deadliest Kids we are delighted to work with Crackit again on another series exploring what turns children into murderers. And we are proud to also extend this successful series with Deadliest Kids, which takes a closer look at international cases of young people who have committed shocking crimes.”

Elaine Hackett, CEO at Crackit Productions said: “Discovery+ UK commissioning a third series and also extending the Deadliest Kids brand beyond Britain is testament to the huge success, strength and interest in this series. Exploring American and Canadian cases where children have committed murder continues to create compelling documentaries for both UK and international audiences.”
