Channel 4 has ordered a new property show that will follow ‘maverick’ builder Guy Phoenix in Building Britain’s Superhomes.

The new two-part series will take Channel 4 viewers into the world of lavish multi-million-pound construction and interior design showcasing the opulent exploits of self-taught property developer, Nottingham-based Guy Phoenix.

Building Britain’s Superhomes, from Midlands based Gosh Television “will go behind the scenes of some of Guy’s astonishing creations, including the entire construction process of his most challenging superhome so far.”

The series will chart the highs and lows of Guy’s world as he continues on the path to his ultimate goal – to build the world’s most expensive house.

Building Britain’s Superhomes was commissioned by Clemency Green, Senior Commissioning Editor for Features and Daytime at Channel 4. The 2 x 60’ series is a Gosh Television production and the Executive Producer is Paul Barnett.

Building Britain’s Superhomes will TX on Channel 4 later this year.
